Through prayer, through the good work of the doctors. People say to me all the time, what’s the difference in the City of Faith? The difference is, you have doctors, nurses and prayer partners all working together as a team. Now that’s the difference. You don’t just go every place and find that, Lindsay. You don’t find that everywhere. What’s different about the City of Faith, what’s that, your beads?
I’m clicking, I’m … I wondered what that was. Leave it to me to disrupt things. I’m sorry. Now go ahead. The City of Faith, Lindsay, what was I saying before your beads interrupted me? About the City of Faith being a place for healing and it is. I’ve just experienced that.
Tell me about it. Well, I came in and I had a glorious natural childbirth from, the delivery was natural and I had people praying for me, people that were really calming me and helping me. I had a doctor that was just tremendous. And the care that I got here was just as miraculous as anything I’ve ever seen.
You know, Lindsay, you couldn’t go ten feet in that childbirth center without somebody wanting to pray for you. Everybody was praying for me, and they were praying for other women that were in there. There was a lady that had a baby right after I was in there and they were praying for her. I could hear them praying for her. And bless their hearts, they had a young lady that had no prenatal care that had just literally walked in and knew nothing about having a baby.
They immediately started teaching her medically what she was going to have to do and prayed for her at the same time. Now bless this young girl’s heart, she knew nothing. So they not only equipped her what was going to happen to her body physically, but they were praying for her the whole time, praying against the fear, praying that she would be able to have a good delivery. You can’t beat that, especially when you’re in an atmosphere where childbirth is not an easy thing and it could be a very scary experience.
Oh, is that so? Is that right? Ladies, is that … You wouldn’t know. I understand that having a child was just as natural as rolling off a log. Well, it was natural. It was very natural and normal.
