People were trying to feed doubt into me but he would not hear it. Would not hear it and he would not surround myself by the people that talked doubt.So you decided to talk faith talk and not doubt talk. The Bible says you walk by faith, not by sight. By the sight of it you couldn’t walk (It’s right) in the natural. In the natural there was no way for Cheryl Pruitt. But it says we don’t walk by sight.
There was no way that you could walk, and there’s certainly no way you could become Miss America 1980. Never, ever, because not only was my leg in a mess, but after God healed my leg I had over 100 stitches in my face and I’ve never had any plastic surgery. God just proved to me through a period of time that if we trust Him, if I’d be faithful and if I’d trust Him, He would take care of all the
circumstances.
Now that’s faith talk. That’s faith talk. Now you may be in the midst of a situation in your life where you’re talking doubt talk. I mean This is what we’ve been taught most of our lives. Doubt talk, doubt talk. I can’t make it talk. Well, turn on the news. I’m going under talk.
Every day we read the newspaper and we turn on the news, they tell us what’s wrong. Some day I would like to turn on the news and have them give one day of glorious praise reports. I would. I would like to see the day that you don’t But you know, we’re programmed to say, this is wrong in the economy, this is wrong in our finances, this is wrong with banking, this is wrong in the, you know, the fighting among the world system, there’s wars, there’s this.
Well, all right, but for heaven’s sake, if we dwell on that and continue to feed our spirits that, the next day you’re going to wake up in the morning and say, “This is wrong, this is what’s going to happen in my
day.”
