He’s a Healing Jesus by Richard Roberts

JENNIFER: and she said, “Oh, I have that,” and so we started discussing that.  And I completely missed what you were saying about tonsillitis.  But I was taping the show for my husband because he works evenings, and when he came home we watched it, and we saw it together. And I just looked at him, and I jumped up, flew into my daughter’s bedroom, touched her.  Her fever was gone.  I came back, running into the living room, praising the Lord, and I woke her up to see that she was okay, because I had to move her from our bed to her bed.  And she said she was thirsty and she wanted some juice.

And I thought, “Oooh, you just had some before you went to bed and it burned your throat real bad.” And she said, “No, I want some.”  She drank it right down, it didn’t burn, the fever gone.  She is healed.

RR: Ah hah.

LR: God works on reruns too.

RR: Now did you hear her?  She said she was watching it live and she taped it for her husband.

LR: Hallelujah, what a good wife.  From Grand Rapids.  Jennifer, are you in Grand Rapids?  Is she there?  She’s gone.

RR: Oh, I think she’s gone.

LR: How exciting.

RR: Isn’t that wonderful?

LR: Wives are so good.

RR: Give yourself five.  Come on, give wives a good handclap.

LR: High five myself on that one.

RR: Cheryl, minister to us again in song, and then we’re going to begin to pray for the sick.  Just as the Lord leads you, Cheryl.

LR: Amen.  Hallelujah.

RR: Hallelujah.  Give her a welcome as she ministers in song.

Cheryl Salem: Thank You, Father.  Thank You, Lord.  Thank You, Father.

Cheryl Salem Sings:  “He’s a Healing Jesus”

RR: That’s why.  Come on, Lindsay.  ‘Cause He’s a healing Jesus. Like Cheryl just said, He’s a healing Jesus.  What testimony do you have, honey?  I’ve got lots of prayer requests tonight ’cause it’s prayer time.

LR: This one is so precious because my mother is Meemie to the grandchildren, and that’s thanks to Harry and Cheryl’s little boy, Roman.  We always called her Grandmama, and he said, “No, she’s my Meemie.”  And from then on, everybody picked up Meemie. And this testimony came in from a lady named Vivian, and she said

RR: It’s in Ohio.

LR: Ohio.  About four weeks ago Vivian had a stroke.  Her family took her to the hospital that Sunday morning, and at that point she did not have full use of her left hand or her arm, nor did she have her speech, it says.  Her granddaughters phoned in the Abundant Life Prayer Group since “that’s what Meemie always did for us.”
