LR: But you said every time the devil started something, you didn’t say every time Robin started something.  See, and that’s the thing.

RR: Or every time one of the children started something.

LR: Yeah.  You see, we don’t wrestle with flesh and blood, but principalities, powers and rulers of darkness.  This is a spirit. You know, according to the Bible, if God created marriage, then that’s something the devil wants to tear down.  Anything that God does, Satan is against.  All right, if God created marriage, Satan is against you having a happy marriage.

So he’s going to use everything in his power to destroy you.  But if we just look at it person to person and not recognize that this is not a fleshly battle, this isn’t a Richard and Lindsay thing.  This is a spiritual battle, we don’t wrestle flesh and blood, but this is a spiritual battle and Satan has strategically set up forces against us to destroy marriages, then you’ve got to break that in the spirit.

RG: You’ve got to do it quickly too because the Bible says, “If not, a root of bitterness will spring up and defile your marriage.  It will bring sickness to your body.”  A lot of people are not healed today, Richard, as you well knows, because of unforgiveness on the inside.

LR: I believe that.

MG: You know, I want to make sure I put this word in here, the scripture says as Christians we should cast out devils.  And I tell the married people, you’re casting out the wrong thing. Instead of casting out your wife or casting out your husband, you need to cast out the devil.  You’re resisting the wrong thing. The Bible says, “Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” When we walk in unforgiveness, we are assisting the devil instead of resisting him.  So we’ve got to make sure we’re casting out the wrong thing.

LR: You’re helping the wrong team.

RR: What you’re saying is so scriptural because in Mark, chapter 11, he said it.  “And when you stand praying, forgive.”

LR: Forgive.

RR: Now a lot of people, they want to hold it and they want to just, “Well, God, God, God,” want to hold it, and, “God, God.”  No.  He said, “When you stand praying, forgive if you ought against someone.”  If you want God to forgive you, because if you don’t forgive, then you’re not going to receive forgiveness.  Well, I sure want to receive forgiveness from God.  Okay, God, I want to forgive this person.  I want to forgive them right now.  And sometimes it’s hard to do.

RR: Oh, hallelujah!

LR: Your voice is totally back.

MACK: My voice is good and strong.  I tell you, I’m back at work.

RR: Back at work.

MACK: Back at work.

RR: Oh, take that, devil, in Jesus’ name.  Glory to God.

MACK: Yes, praise God, praise God.

RR: Hallelujah!

LR: They overcame him by the blood of the lamb and the word of their testimony.  Hallelujah!

RR: I’ll tell you, Lindsay, anybody with cancer in your body, stretch your hands out toward my hands or walk over and lay your hands right now oh, Lindsay, here comes that

LR: Into agreement with this prayer.

RR: Every time, every time I put my hands up like this on television, I feel a burning heat begin to come into my hands. Friend, that’s the anointing of God.  Reach out and touch right now in Jesus’ name.  I come against this cancer and, by the way, there’s an ear drum being healed right now.  Ear drum being healed right now, in Jesus’ name.  You can check your hearing right now.

It’s changing right now as you’re watching me.  And, also, there’s a person who has injured your ribs.  In fact, you’ve broken ribs and in your sternum.  God’s healing you right now.  You with cancer, touch my hands right now.  In the authority of Jesus’ name, I bind and rebuke this cancer.  I command it to leave you.

You foul tormenting thing, in Jesus’ mighty name, you foul blood disease, and you come out in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.  O Lord, I give you praise and glory and honor in Jesus’ mighty name.  Somebody give the Lord praise. I’ll tell you, the power of God is moving tonight, Lindsay.

William in Jamestown, New York.  This is just from last night.  We had so many healings last night we didn’t have time to read them all.  And we had lots of live phone calls last night.”Richard, you called out a word about arms being healed.  I had a cyst taken off my right shoulder,” William says.  “Had it taken off the past summer?  I could not raise my arm without pain.  Any movement hurt me.  Then the right arm…

Suddenly you were talking about the right arm on television, and I put my right arm on the TV as you prayed.” I mean, literally he put his arm on the television.  That’s what I told people to do last night.  He put his arm on the TV.  He says, “I have no more pain in my arm.” Halleluia, halleluia.

And Jerry in Freemont, Michigan. You’re from Michigan. Do you know where Freemont is?

LR: I’ve heard of it.  I don’t know where it is.

RR: You’re supposed to know.  A word of knowledge given.

LR: could be close to.

RR: nasal passages opened up.  “I claimed it.  Instantly my nasal passages opened.”  And Jerry said he had his hand on the TV.  And also, his headache is now gone.  “The nasal passages are open, and my headache is gone too.”

LR: Praise the Lord.

RR: Father, I set my faith in agreement right now.  There are three people, you’re suffering with migraine headaches tonight, three people, and God’s healing your headache now.  How do I know?  I know because He’s giving me a word of knowledge.  Thank You, Jesus.  Oh, oh, oh, hallelujah.  There are lung conditions being healed right now.  You, who have problems with your breathing, lay your hand on your chest right now.  In the authority of the name of Jesus, I come against this satanic attack in your breathing. Lungs, emphysema, asthma, go away.  Are thou made whole and here comes the healing in the name of Jesus Christ.

Now just begin to take a deep breath.  There are seven people getting your lungs healed right now.  Seven people.  There are three headaches right now and seven lung conditions.  You’ve been breathing right off the top.  You’ve not been able to breathe deep all the way down right now, and God’s healing you, God’s healing you.  Whoever you are, I want you to get up right now and call us at the Abundant Life Prayer Group, 918-495-7777. Come on, get up and call.  Who’s the first of you seven who will call and say, “I’m one.  I got my healing in my lungs just when you prayed.”

There’s a person who has numbness on the right side of your face.  That numbness is leaving now.  And also the person. Okay, Lord.  There’s a person who fell.  You were running. I don’t know if you were running in a race, running across the room.  I don’t know.  All I know are you fallen and you injured your shin bone on your leg when you fell.  You either tripped or you hit something and you injured the bone on the front of your leg, your shin bone, and God is healing you now.  And you’ll know who you are because you were running when it happened.  You were running, and God’s healing you right now.  Whoever you are, get up and call and let us know what’s happening. Sue, do you have a testimony?

John, there are people right now that are in need of help. They’re in need of someone to pray for them.  Because you talk about a people who need a healing, people need healing who are into unforgiveness.  And I want you to just pray and minister to the people right now.  That’s what this program is about, the healing ministry.

J: The thing I want to say to you right now is this, you’ve got to be able to admit that you are offended.  That’s the first step for getting free.  Most people won’t admit it.  They’ll say, “No, I’m fine.  I’m over it.  I’ve handled it.”  Tonight as we talked, Richard and I, Lindsay and Lisa, it came back up.  The reason it came up, it’s the Holy Spirit trying to get you free.  Pride has kept you from getting free because pride has always said, “No, I’m fine.”  No, you’re not fine.  You’re wounded and you need to be able to confess it, because that’s the first step to getting free.

The next step you have to understand is, Jesus forgave you when you didn’t deserve it.  He freely forgave you.  He said that you are to forgive the way He’s forgiven you.  That means you’re to be able to forgive this person, no matter what they did to you.  I don’t care what was done to you.  Somebody says, “But you don’t know what was done to me.”  No, you don’t know what you did to Jesus.  You were the one that put Him on that cross.  I’m the one that put Him on that cross.

And I feel your hurt right now.  I feel the pain in your heart.  What Richard just said, a person that’s offended begins to isolate themself.  They begin to build up walls in their heart of protection.  But what you do is, you actually build prison walls.  It’s time to tear them down.  It’s time to allow the love of God to once again flow from your heart.

And the love of God gives when it’s not deserved.  You didn’t deserve to be saved, I didn’t deserve to be saved, but Jesus chose to save us.  And that’s what you’ve got to do tonight.  You’ve got to forgive to somebody that doesn’t deserve to be forgiven.  That’s the heart of God.  That’s what God desires to put within you.

PAM: sitting there listening, and you said you didn’t understand what it was but that, you know, it was being healed.  And the very next thing that you had said was, “There is somebody watching who has a problem with hearing in the right ear.”  And then you went on to say, “It’s the inner ear, it’s the eardrum.” And I said, “Praise God, I know that was me,” because I had not been able to hear out of my right ear for years.

RR: And can you hear now?

PAM: I had infections as a child and I grew up with these  which resulted in a loss of hearing in the ear.  And then I had also had a half healing in my left ear, which that has been corrected also.  So, yes, I claimed it, and I got it, and it is healed.  And I’ve been able to hear.  In fact, my husband .

RR: Hallelujah.

PAM: whispered in my ear today and heard everything that he said.

RR: Pam, are you watching right now?

PAM: Yes, I am.  Yes, I am.  And my mother whispered in my ear today and said she loved me, and I heard that.  And it was

RR: And you’re live in Ohio, and we’re live in Oklahoma, and there’s no distance in prayer.

PAM: No, there is not.

RR: Oh, come on, somebody give God praise tonight.  Hallelujah. SPLR LINDSAY ROBERTS You know, honey as Arlie was talking about being in Washington, recently Cheryl and I were in Washington, D.C. at the Women in Leadership Conference, and as we were there we were able to take a  IL02 tour of the, really the highlights of Washington.  And Cheryl and I got out of our car and we walked up to where the statue of Abraham Lincoln was sitting.  And when you walk up all those stairs, by the time you get up there you think you’re going to faint anyway.  And you get to the top and there was Abraham Lincoln.

And he is so massive, so enormous when you see it.  And Cheryl looked at that and she said “Do you see how big that is?”  And I said, “Yes.”  I could see her mind clicking. She said, “You know, Jesus said He’s got the whole world in His hands.”  And we saw how massive the hands of Abraham Lincoln on a statue looked.  And she said, “Can you imagine Jesus stretching out His hands when God said, He’s got the whole world in His hand,” like the song you teach your children, “He’s Got the Whole World in His Hand.”  And I want to say something to you today, just being, hearing of Washington reminded me of this, whatever you need today, no matter how big your need is, if God can hold us in the palm of His hand, He can take care of your needs today.

SPKM STEVE VICKERS Correct.  I went down to Florida just to get away for a few days…. I rented a condo down there and stayed for a few days just to fast and pray and spend some time with God.  And while I was down there the Lord impressed me, while I was just seeking the face of God, concerning his direction in the days ahead in our church, in our ministry.  God impressed me that Denise was to come down also.  Now we have four children and so she’s kept pretty busy, plus with the church and everything.  So I called her and said, “Denise, I really believe that you are to come down.  Just take a few days to come down and be with me.”  I had already been down for three days, so she came down and really, it was during that time that God spoke to her to make an appointment at the Charismatic Bible Ministries Conference in June of 1986.

SPRR RICHARD ROBERTS What do you mean an appointment?

SPKM STEVE VICKERS Well, maybe she needs to share that with you. But, you know, God is real.  And we can make an appointment with God and say, “God, at such and such a time I’m going to meet with you and you’re going to do so-and-so in my life.

SPRR RICHARD ROBERTS All right, Denise, were you saying, “I am making an appointment with God that at that Charismatic Bible Ministries Oral Roberts Conference last year I’m going to release my faith for miracles”?

SPKM DENISE VICKERS Yes, yes.  I knew I could not come back from that meeting now healed. I knew I had to get healed.  (APPLAUSE) I would do this.  I would hold my hand over my heart and I would say, “Steve, I’m sick, I’m sick.  My heart is sick.”  I was disappointed in God.  It was affecting my spiritually and, see, I knew it wasn’t God but I couldn’t understand how can you be healed and still be in pain, but I knew I heard God say that. And so for 2| years I suffered in this thing.  And driving back from Florida in the car I was listening to a healing tape and I turned off the tape player and I said to the devil, “It is you, Satan…..” because, see, for 2| years I tried to deal with it with vitamins, nutrition, I quit eating for 6 weeks and tried to see if it was food. I did everything in the natural that I knew to do.

SPRR RICHARD ROBERTS And you’d done everything your doctors told you to do.

SPKM DENISE VICKERS I read everything the doctors told me, I took every medication, and they had to put me on stronger medication. I signed release forms for damage to my liver and to my eyes, going blind for this medication that I was on to keep me walking because they were predicting the wheelchair, Richard.  I was in severe pain.  And in the car I turned that tape player off and I settled it once and for all.  It is not vitamins that is my answer, it is not nutrition, it is the devil that’s doing this to me.  The devil was harrassing my body and I had to settle it.  I would waver in and out of it.  I would go in the natural and try to deal with it in the natural and the next minute I’d say, “It’s the spiritual.”  And I did everything in the spiritual I knew to do.

SPKM STEVE VICKERS I want to say this, Richard, and it’s so important because we were in the middle of this and I saw what was going on.  I was in it but also like an observer, and I saw this.  Whenever you give the enemy a little ground, that’s not the end.  When you allow him to compromise what you know to be the truth, he is not going to stop until he has destroyed all of the foundation of your faith.

SPRR RICHARD ROBERTS It’s like a song I heard a man write.  He said, “Don’t let the devil ride cause if you let him ride, he’ll want to drive.”

SPKM DENISE VICKERS That’s right, that’s right.  And let me tell you something.  In the car I settled it.  I said, “It is you, devil.”  I settled it.  Then I said, “Okay, God, I’m making an appointment right now.”  Now I was driving home to Montgomery and I said, “God, I want to make an appointment with you,” and I knew if you make an appointment with God according to the Word, if you cry out to God, he’s going to hear you. (APPLAUSE)  So I put God on the line and I said, “God, in five weeks I’m going to Tulsa.” And I knew… if you’re going to get healed, you ought to be able to get healed in Tulsa, you know.  So I knew, I knew it was going to happen.  I settled it.

Father, I take authority over this sickness.  I take authority over the disease.  In Jesus’ name I stand against it. And my brother, my sister, young person, in Jesus’ name I pray for you to be healed.  There is an elbow that is being healed.  My — the power of God is present to heal today.  That is what the Bible says. “The power of God was present to heal.”  And God’s power hasn’t changed.  He’s got just as much healing power now as he had then.  He said, “I am the Lord, I change not.”  And his Son Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever.  Yes, yes.  Okay. Somebody is getting a healing on your scalp.  The little growth and thing on the scalp is being healed right now.  You say, “Well, that’s kind of crazy.”  Well, I’m only giving you what God has given me.”  And I’ll deliver his word, and I will be unashamed.  I am not ashamed of delivering God’s word to you. Rise up on the inside.  Take new hope.  You say, “Well, I am at the very end.”  Well, I’m praying a “very end” Holy Ghost prayer for you. And I expect a miracle in your life.  I rebuke that sin in your life. That thing that you have been trying to discard. God can turn it around in your life.  You that are on drugs and alcohol — you are going to hear a testimony in a few minutes from a man who has been to hell and back.  It’s going to be a blessing in your life.  And then we are going to have a prayer for you as a drug addict, for you as an alcoholic, for you who have been in prison.  You’re going to hear a testimony that is going to help turn your life around.  In fact, you’d better call somebody on the phone right now and say — you’re going to hear something on Richard Roberts program today that is going to make a difference in your life.  Don Stanley will be here in a minute to share a magnificent testimony, one of the best testimonies you will ever hear in your life.  It will be a blessing to you.  And I speak to that fear.   SR01 The Bible says, “God has not given you the spirit of fear, but of power, of love, and of a sound mind.” ( RR_2_Timothy_01:07 ) I rebuke  SU01 that fear.  That fear is not from God.  Now I am not talking about a normal fear — I’m not talking about a healthy respect, like when you walk across the street you look both ways for a car.  I’m not talking about that.  I’m talking about the kind of fear that comes to torment you.  That kind of fear is not of God.  And I rebuke that thing in your life.  And I pray for you to take new strength and new courage. And for you to say — I’m not going to be afraid of this tormenting thing anymore.  And you and I right now join together and take authority over it in the name of Jesus.

I particularly want to pray for your family and your marriage.  I really feel led of God to do that today.  Your whole situation may be about to dissolve.   PRRR In Jesus’ name, I pray for God to wrap his arms around you and your wife, around you and your husband, around you and your children, around you and your parents — and to knit you back together.  I am praying and believing for it to happen.  And I pray it not in my name, but I pray it in Jesus’ name.  And when I pray, I expect something to happen.  Amen and amen.  (APPLAUSE) Hallelujah.  Somebody else is getting a healing.  You who have had the — my, the power of God is strong today.  There is somebody who has a big knot on your right knee.  Right on the kneecap, the knot is disappearing.  If you are receiving a healing step to your phone, call the Abundant Life Prayer Group.  Let me know who you are.  918, that’s the area code, 495-7777. When Oral and I married on Christmas Day, 1938, I knew I was marrying someone called to the ministry.  But at the time, I never dreamed that he would take God’s healing message across the nation and around the world.  And because Oral obeyed God’s call on his life, we’ve spent a lot of time apart during our marriage

The longest moments of my life have been those when Oral was not with me.  When he conducted his tent crusades across the country, he was often gone from the family for three weeks at a time.  I can remember thinking as I drove him to the airport to leave for his first crusade, Goodbye, Oral.  I’ll probably be doing this the rest of my life.

When Oral was home, it always meant twice as much work for me—more cooking, more straightening up around the house—but I loved having him home, and there seemed to be a peace in our home when he was there.

I believe a marriage is worth your attention, and it’s the little things you do that can help build up a marriage.  Oral and I liked to raid the refrigerator before bedtime, and the late night snacks were usually the time for heart-to-heart talks about our future, the children, and just being in love.  Over a glass of cornbread and milk we grew closer.

Our marriage is probably no different than most couples’.  Through the years we’ve been married, there have been some rough spots, but we always worked hard to keep our love alive.

We were criticized for traveling by plane to see each other during the long crusades.  When a friend suggested that the money spent on plane fares could be used for a better cause, Oral was quick to reply, “You can’t put a price on love!”  To us, love is priceless.

Oral dearly loves his family, but I’ve always known that his love for Jesus is even greater than his love for me or the children.  That deep, spiritual love doesn’t make us jealous, because Oral’s love for Jesus makes his love for us all the more sacred.

I’ve never been sorry that I married Oral Roberts.  There were many lonely hours when he was away, but always our hearts were together in unity and love that transcended the miles.  Over the years we’ve learned that there is no distance in love

We were criticized for traveling by plane to see each other during the long crusades.  When a friend suggested that the money spent on plane fares could be used for a better cause, Oral was quick to reply, “You can’t put a price on love!”  To us, love is priceless.

Oral dearly loves his family, but I’ve always known that his love for Jesus is even greater than his love for me or the children.  That deep, spiritual love doesn’t make us jealous, because Oral’s love for Jesus makes his love for us all the more sacred.

I’ve never been sorry that I married Oral Roberts.  There were many lonely hours when he was away, but always our hearts were together in unity and love that transcended the miles.  Over the years we’ve learned that there is no distance in love

This in Detroit—oh, those Detroit Tigers!  I grew up watching Detroit Tiger baseball from the time I was a young child.  And in Detroit, this precious one called in, sowing a $25 seed, believing God for a miracle.

Lots of people have called in with financial needs and have been sowing seeds.  But I want to read a couple of these.  This precious one called in from California and said her son needs his business to prosper.

This one called in from Arkansas and said, “Drug addiction with a grandchild.”  You know what?  We pray for the spirit of addiction to be broken off of that child and anybody else that has addictions that are not from God.  We pray for addictions in any area, in the name of Jesus, to be broken.        

In my life time I have never had addictions to something like drugs or alcohol or cigarettes.  I’ve never smoked a cigarette in my life.  But you know what?  Addiction, if you look up the dictionary definition of it is like a hook.  And I pray for that hook to be released from people now. 

Spirit of addiction, you take your filthy hands off of God’s property.  You be set free from drugs or alcohol, anything that’s harmful to your body.  And prescription drugs that are used properly, thank the Lord for that.  But if there’s prescription drugs that are being abused improperly, in the name of Jesus, I pray, sweet one, for you to be set free.

You know, God calls us names like beloved and precious.  And I pray for people who think they are unlovely and unloved right now.  I pray for God to minister to you the very love of God himself.

Jesus in our Prince of Peace.  That means nothing missing, nothing broken.  And anything that’s missing and broken in your life, we pray right now for God who sent His Son Jesus into your behalf, for that God to work a miracle in your life, in Jesus’ name.

For this precious family in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, for financial needs.  (Reading names)  Cancer, in the name of Jesus, I speak to you directly.  The Bible says we can speak to our mountain, according to Mark 11:23, and we can command that thing to be cast into the sea and not doubt in our heart, but believe the things that we say shall come to pass, it shall be as we say. 

In the name of Jesus, I break the stronghold of cancer according to God’s Word and pray in the name of Jesus that cancer is rebuked.  That means, stop it, that’s enough!  In Jesus’ name.

There’s so many of these different names and needs here represented.  (Reading names)  This precious one, Timothy, is praying for a wife.  And I’m in agreement, Father God, for You to send the perfect spouse, for people who are praying for their spouse.  Lord God, I pray in the name of Jesus that people would find the perfect spouse, in Jesus’ name.
