Psyche, represents the psychological part of you, which is the soul realm.  The psyche area is your soul realm, which is made up of three areas—your mind, your will, and your emotions.

You know, if you ever wondered why they use to call it soul music, it’s because it speaks to your mind, your will, and your emotions.  Okay?

Your psyche is your soul realm.  And when man got into sin, his spirit became smothered or subdued by his psyche.  That’s how that happened.  But now when we repent, that all turns around.  I left that out, and I needed to go back and clear that up on the soul realm.

Now when the Bible speaks of baptizing, baptizing in or with the Holy Spirit, we immediately visualize something on the external, like somebody being put into something.  But the word baptize literally means completely suffused, completely suffused.  It is used in the classical Greek language to describe a sunken or water-logged ship.

So, really, to tell you the truth, it doesn’t matter whether you subscribe to the idea of Jesus immersing us in the Holy Spirit in the external sense, from the outside, or from the inside, because when you are suffused, you are totally surrounded.

You put a ship at the bottom of the ocean, and it’s got water outside, inside, above, below.  It’s totally suffused.  When a ship sinks, it is totally suffused with water.  That is a picture in the classical Greek language of how the Holy Spirit comes upon us.

Now in John 7:38—this is a critical scripture—John 7:38, Jesus said, “He who believes in me, as the scripture has said, Out of his belly”—the King James says—out of his heart, out of his innermost being, “shall flow rivers of living water.”

Now picture this scene.  Jesus is standing there next to the temple in Jerusalem.  He’s with His twelve disciples.  They’re standing there on what was described as the last great day of the feast.

And it was just that one word from one of his teammates that caused him to go home that night, get his Bible, begin to study.  And that night in the quiet of his own room, without anybody leading him, he repented of his sins and gave his life to Jesus Christ, when he was one of the top two or three running backs in all of NFL.

Now the reason I tell you that story is because when you got saved, you, once again, as we were created, elevated your spirit man over your mind.  I want you to get a picture of this.  The word repent means change your mind.  Repentance is a change of mind.  Repentance is not a change of heart.  It’s a change of mind.

Repent literally means change your mind.  But it is a double-meaning word.  It’s not only change your mind and act differently, although it certainly is that.  But it is also change the position of your mind.

Therefore, when you got saved and when you repented and asked God to forgive you and cleanse you, you changed the position of your mind.  Before that, your mind was in control.  Your mind was in the driver’s seat.  Everything else was subservient to the mind.

But when you repented and were born again, you elevated your spirit man above your mind, and you put your mind in subjection to your spirit so that you could be led by God and not led by your mind.  Are you getting this?  It’s important for you to understand this because you’ll be explaining this to people all of your lives.

When you get saved, your spirit man is elevated above your mind, which is the way God created mankind in the first place.  So there is the beginning of the reattachment.  That’s what I’m driving at this morning.  Repent means to change your mind.

All right, now write down the word psyche, p-s-y-c-h-e, psyche.  This is the root word from which psychology comes from.

And she said, “No, I’ve got to find this shoe.”  And she finally gave up and went to the line.  While she was paying, the Lord said, “Go look in the top row of size 5.”  And she said,  ”What?  I’m not going to do that.”  And He said, “I said, go look in the top row of size 5.”  She said, “Lord!”  And He said, “I said, go look in the top row of size 5.”

So she did, and there was her other shoe.  And she said,  ”Oh, God, that’s so cute, You giving me a shoe.”  And He said,  ”It’s not about shoes; it’s about obedience.  If I can’t trust you to listen to me about a shoe, how can I trust you with my children?”

And I said all that to say this to you:  There’s a fire shut up in each and every one of our bones right now.  And I’m going to become contagious whether you like it or not.  And Richard’s going to become contagious, whether you like it or not. There’s a time to say, and then there’s a time to do.

There’s a time, and then there’s a time to impart.  And then there’s a time to pray, and there’s a time to say, and then there’s a time for the fire shut up in your bones to become contagious.

And I want to ask you a question: How many of you were here last night?  What you saw last night, God clearly spoke to me, and he [Richard] kept talking to me last night, saying, “Why couldn’t I talk?  Why couldn’t I talk?”  Because it was not the time to pray, and it was not the time to say.  It was the time to be.

“The basic sickness, and every sickness, I believe, is spiritual sickness.  I venture to say this, that if you could be healed in your spirit, every last one of you would be well in your body.  But the whole problem of cleaning up man is cleaning up his spirit.  Let me change it and make it my business.

“Healing is in three planes, isn’t it?  Spiritual healing, healing in your body, and healing in your soul.  Basically, the sick person, that is sick in their body has probably been sick in spirit quite a long time.  After the wholeness has gotten down into his soul, it passes into the body.

“I cannot tell you, brethren, what this truth that I’m telling you has meant to my life because now I can trace every physical change in my body to a spiritual condition when my body began to respond to my spirit.”

And this was the story that I had looked and looked and looked for.

“I was called to the home of a man who was 82 or 83 years of age, the day before yesterday.  He has been sick now over two years.  He had blood poisoning in his teeth, and it went through his whole body.  I went into his presence with a well spirit.”

There you have it.  This thing hit me like nothing else has ever hit my soul or my spirit before in my life.

“I went into his presence with a well spirit, a conquering spirit.  Now I don’t think of this when I was there.  I thought of it later.  When I went back today I saw the effect of it.  I was there with a triumphant, victorious spirit, and his spirit caught the contagion from me!”

What are you contagious with?  This man was whipped.  He had sat there in that chair, and he was whipped.  He was defeated.

Never judge a book by its cover.  You are not, you are not what you’ve been labeled.  You are not what you label yourself. You are of God, little children. I want you to turn to John 17.  And if you go over to John 17?while you’re doing that – a couple days ago I had this huge discussion with my daughters, and we were talking about different people and how to impact their lives, and what would you do to impact their lives?  And one of my daughters piped up and said,  ”Mom, why do you do that all the time?  Why do you give into people that don’t appear like they need it, or don’t appear like they’re paying any attention?  Why do you do for people who make fun of you?  You seem to go out for people who are like the ones who always hurt our family, or the one who mocks our family.  You seem to go after those people.

And she said, “You know, Mom, it’s even weird because sometimes you know they’re making fun of you.  You know they’re using you; you know they’re making a fool of you.”

I said, “Bingo.  Because God said He would use the things that the world calls foolish to confound the wise.”  And I said, “Olivia, let me tell you what it is.  It’s called obedience.”

When God lays people on your heart, you have two choices:  you can look at their labels, look at what they say to you, what they say about you, what somebody else says about them.  My kids have been warned about more people under the sun.  And then I look back and say, “Do you know many people have been warned about my kids?”

Oral Roberts stated Hallelujah!  Hallelujah!  Hallelujah!  Good morning, everyone.  I’m so glad to see you.  Lift your hands unto the Lord this morning.  Father, we bless You and we praise You and we give You the honor and the glory.

Thank You for every pastor here this morning, for how beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel, the good news of Jesus.  How beautiful are your feet today.  The Lord says that to you.  Your feet are beautiful because they carry you to preach the gospel.

Lindsay Roberts says that father, I thank You for this opportunity to be in El Salvador.  Thank You for these men and women of God.  Lord, let me speak like a man from another world.  Anoint me afresh and anew.  Let the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be acceptable in Your sight.  And may everything that I say and do bring honor and glory to God, in the name of Jesus.  Hallelujah!  Amen.  Come on, give Him praise.

Richard Roberts – Good morning to you all.  Are you ready for the Word of God?  Well, I am honored to be here today.  Special thanks to President Saka for his Presidential invitation to come to this nation.  Special thanks to our organizing pastors and all the leaders who have made this possible.  Special thanks to you for coming today.  I am excited about this morning, and I am excited about tonight.

Lindsay Roberts says that he began to walk away, when the Holy Spirit spoke to him and said, “If you’re not willing to pray for him, you’re not worthy to be called My child.”  And he whirled around and took the man in his arms and prayed for his healing.

God has put His stamp of approval on laying hands on the sick.  Pastor, can I leave the platform for just a moment?  Is there someone right here in this section who has a problem with your back?  Come here, please.  Yes, you too.  May I give a demonstration?  Right here.

Oral Roberts says that left hand, right hand, it doesn’t matter, because it’s not my hand.  It’s His hand.  See, it doesn’t matter if I use one hand or the other hand or both hands because it’s not my power.  It’s His power.  Is your back hurting?  Do you have pain in your back?  Do you have pain in your back?

INTERPRETER: Yes, there’s a bump in her back.

RR: You have pain in your back?

INTERPRETER: She always carries a pain.

RR: I’m going to lay my hands on you, and there’s a change that’s going to begin. Richard Roberts says that the reason I’m doing this is because this afternoon I saw a vision of my doing this.  The Lord said, “You call out three,” not two, not four, three.  My brother, would you come stand behind them?

In the authority of the name of Jesus, I speak to this back condition, come out.  In Jesus’ name, back pain, come out.  In the name of Jesus, back pain, come out.  Now start bending.  Move your back.  Start moving your back, whatever you could not do.  Now what difference can you tell in your back now?

INTERPRETER: The pain is going out.

RR: The pain is going out.  Where was it?  There?  Loose it.  Now just move it.  Move it.  Okay now?  Yes.  Pain’s gone?

INTERPRETER: Pain’s gone.

Richard Roberts: How about you?

INTERPRETER: It felt warm in her back.

Richard Roberts says that and some have taken the scriptures out of context, like, for example, the scripture, “It is more blessed to give than to receive.”  Actually, it is more productive to give than receive.  Because only what is given can be multiplied back.  If you take nothing and you multiply it, you have nothing left.  Zero multiplied by zero equals zero.

And there is a Bible principle, but most Christians today do not understand it.  So in order to understand it tonight, let me take you back to the beginning.  Let me take you back to the days of Abraham.

Oral Roberts University says that Abraham was like David.  He was a man after God’s own heart.  Abraham was the first man to know who God was.  He knew that God was most high.  He knew that He was the possessor of heaven and earth, and he knew that He was the one who delivered him from all of his enemies. Lindsay Roberts says that when he knew who God was, he knew who he was.  You will never know who you are until you know who God is.

And God is a God who believes in sowing seed.  As long as the earth remains, there will be seedtime and harvesttime.  When Abraham saw that He was most high, that He was possessor of heaven and earth and that God was the one who delivered him from all of his enemies, then he did something.  He brought an offering unto the Lord.  He gave.

Richard Roberts  – I can give to you without loving you, but I cannot love you without giving to you.  Abraham loved God, and so he gave to Him.  And God set up a principle.  It is just as true tonight as it was in Bible days:  “Only what you sow shall you reap.  Be not deceived, God is not mocked.  Whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.”

Oral Roberts says that pain in the hips, pain in the knees, pain in the feet and legs, in Jesus’ name, every pain, come out now.  And it’s coming out.  It’s coming out now.  Hands are being healed.  Fingers are being healed.  Numbness is leaving.  Backs are being healed.  Hips are being healed, knees and feet and legs.

Shoulders are being healed.  In the name of Jesus, I come against the cataract.  I come against the glaucoma, the cataract in the eye and the glaucoma and any blurred vision or blindness. Lindsay Roberts says that in the name of Jesus, eyes, see.  See.  In the name of Jesus, there’s eyes being healed right now.

I speak to deafness and loss of hearing.  Just like if I were in a crusade in Africa or in some other nation, I speak directly to deafness.  I command it to come out now, in the name of Jesus.

Down in the Eustachian tube and the eardrum, open up.  And someone’s receiving hearing right now, in Jesus’ name.  Ears are opening.  Eyes are being healed.  Feet and legs are being healed.  Backs are being healed.  Knees are being healed.  Shoulders are being healed.  Necks are being healed.  Bones are straightening out.  Muscles are being healed.  Veins are going down.

I speak to the stomach, kidney, liver, pancreas gallbladder, colon, any burning in your body, in the name of Jesus, come out now, in the name of Jesus.

Richard Roberts – I speak to the burning in your chest, lungs, heart, blood pressure, blood sugar.  In the name of Jesus, be healed.  Every pain, come out now, in Jesus’ name.  From the crown of your head to the soles of your feet, every cancer, come out.

Richard Roberts stated that one time I was preaching in Uganda, and Uganda is where the Nile River is formed.  It’s an unusual river in Africa.  It does not flow from north to south.  It flows from south to north.  It starts in Uganda at Lake Victoria.

And one day my sponsor took me out to where the Nile River was formed.  And I stood there and saw just a little trickle of water coming out of Lake Victoria.  And I said, “Is this the beginning?”  He said, “Yes.”

And then he asked me a question.  “What do you suppose would happen if the trickle was shut off?”  I thought for a moment, and I said, “The mighty Nile River would be closed down, and millions of Africans would die.”

Lindsay Roberts tells us that if someone shut off the source of the Seine River, it would be devastating for this part of Europe.  It is the same with you.  Without a source, you don’t have a life.  Oh, you may exist.  You may just hang on to the edge.  But you don’t really live.

Is He your source today?  Is He the source of your life?  Oral Roberts University says that is He the source of everything about you?  It is said that in Him we live and move and have our being, Him in us and us in Him.  He is the source of my life.  Turn to the person next to you and say, “He is the source of my life.”

Many of you have come for healing today, and you’re wondering, “Will God heal me?  How can this happen?  Others have prayed for me, and nothing has happened.  What will be different about today and some other time when someone prayed?”

Well, it will start with a point of contact.  What is a point of contact?  A point of contact is something that you do and when you do it, you release your faith.

Richard Roberts – Everyone has faith.  The Bible says so.  God has given to every person the measure of faith.  Everyone has faith, but everyone does not use faith.  Faith was not given to lie dormant in your heart.  Faith was intended to be used.
